A NEW RECORD....A FOURTH TROPHY???
Prempeh College has once again been the talk of the Town as they handed a hefty defeat to their opponents in the ongoing 2017 National science and maths quiz. The three-time NSMQ champions, crushed 2012 NSMQ winners, GSTS and debutants, Aduman SHS in the fourth quarterfinal contest to qualify for the semi-final of the 2017 National Science & Maths Quiz.
The Ashanti region powerhouse put up a masterful performance to end the competition with 82 points which now holds the record as the biggest win in the new NSMQ format... whilst GSTS and Aduman SHS only managed to pull 39 and 31 points respectively there by creating a 43-point margin.
It is rumoured that GSTS begged the quiz mistress, Dr. Elsie Kauffman to end the contest before the final round as there was no way they could have staged a comeback but only end up intensifying their humiliation.
Prempeh College staged a similar performance in 2015 with 80 points against Pope John's which was then the record and went on to win the trophy. Just two years later, they've broken their own record and set a new one. The question now is... Will history repeats itself?? Will they go on to win the trophy?
What do you think?
